After going through some queries from users, we have decided to give you a bunch of tips which will make your journey with Sentrifugo a cakewalk!
- It’s preferable if an IT Admin installs or assists you in installing Sentrifugo. As basic knowledge about webserver (LAMP/WAMP/XAMPP) and databases is required while installing this application.
- Sentrifugo only supports MYSQL DB and Apache.
- Ensure that you have permission to attach ‘Triggers’ to your MYSQL database, as Sentrifugo is highly dependent on Triggers. (If you want to host your application on a domain, Please ask your service provider to grant permission to attach Triggers).
- You need a proper email server configuration for sending emails in the application.
- If there are any changes in your Super Admin’s email address and password, please make sure that you change it in Sentrifugo’s mail settings as well.
- Once employees are added, they can’t be deleted, however they can be made ‘Inactive’. Once they are inactivated they cannot access the application again.
- If you had added the employee by mistake, you can edit the current employee’s details to replace it with another employee’s name and details.

Hi there,
First of all I would like to thank all of you for interesting tool.
If during user creation wrong mail was defined (which means that user will not receive login link and will not be able to login), after fixing mail address, there no possibility to re-send user credentials to the user and the only way is to re-create user which also not possible since there no “delete user” button.

Kindly run the below query in your database to change the password of a specific user.
Query: update main_users set emppassword=md5(‘example’) where id=1;
NOTE: 1. You can provide any password instead of the word example.
2. Provide the ID of the user in the place of ‘id’ in the above query.

NOTE: You can provide new Email ID instead of ‘test@example.com’ in both the places.
Kindly run the below query in the database to change the password of Super Admin.

If user created with wrong mail once (which means he will not receive login link), after updating mail to correct one, it is not possible to send login details again, so the only way is to re-create user which also not possible since there no such button.

Hi, I am unable to edit or cancel the leaves that are approved already in both the management and the employee logins..

After creating an opening, in order to send out emails to the Approvers, Reporting Manager, HR & Management Requisition group emails, you will need to run the cron job:

Thanks for the follow up. I was able to use the template to upload employees to the app host on Google cloud but during local test it wasn’t possible with the same template and same configuration.
I checked the log in the application folder and there wasn’t any log. Will continue to investigate and share here.

I would like to suggest that, there should be option to add a unit head for a business unit since all unit under the Business unit reports to the head of the sub-units.

I’ve added employees in bulk using the import option, but when I try to send emails to employees for their login details, nothing happens. Browsers display a blank page (all white, no error code & messages).
I’ve tried:
1. Running 192.168.0.254/Sentrifugo/index.php/cronjob on a Chrome & Firefox browsers on Windows Server where the app resides.
2. Running localhost/Sentrifugo/index.php/cronjob on a Chrome & Firefox browsers on Windows Server where the app resides.
3. Running 192.168.0.254/Sentrifugo/index.php/cronjob on Chrome & Firefox browsers on my laptop.
Am I missing something?

Am just a normal user of sentrifugo, but I presume you are adding the first employee right?
For the first employee, you will only see the management role since the first employee is like the CEO of the organization. After you have added the first employee, you will see the other roles when adding employees.

In Sentrifugo, the first employee you will be able to add is an Organization Head(Management Role). Then you will be redirected to the employee grid. Click on the ‘Add’ button to add an employee, here all the roles will be displayed in the Roles drop down. Thank you!

We have started using Sentrifugo 3.1.1. Its great to have so many features in a single solutions.
We appreciate all the efforts.
We have a problem while configuring the leave management options.
In the Leave Management Options, when we try to create an option of any business unit or department we are always getting an error stating “Hr manager not added yet for the selected department.”
We have tried various permutations. Please let us know how we can associate a Single HR manager to multiple departments. Is there some step that we are missing

Somehow I am not able to see 33rd employee onwards. I can add but count it just shows 32 and it does not allow me to add same 33rd email id.

Thank you for showing interest in our product! We are sorry to disappoint you. This option is currently not available in Sentrifugo. In Sentrifugo, only the HR manager will be able to upload the Resumes/CV of the candidates for the Opening positions.

Thank you for choosing Sentrifugo!!
1. The employment ID number cannot be changed to an organization’s specific number code system. When you add a new employee, the number along with the identity code is assigned by default.
In Site Configuration -> General -> Identity Codes you can see that each group of employees
is given a specific Identity code, which you can modify at any time. The business logic we have implanted
is that whenever there’s a new employee in a respective identity code, he/she will be assigned an incremented number
of the originally existing employees along with the identity code. Eg: EMP0001, EMP0002, or USER0001, USER0002 etc.
2.Buy a domain and try hosting with the help of IT person.

Great Product, however couple of issues:
1) Approved requisition does not show in the login ID of the reporting manager if creating by Super User
2) Approved requisition cannot be edited. We cannot assign/ remove recruiters, cannot change the job description. While hiring people, this is something which is always needed.
3) In the requisition dashboard, how do we add more columns such as POSITION and DEPARTMENT because one job title could exist for multiple positions and multiple departments.

We have either pre-allocated or non-pre-allocated leaves. Is there a concept of having Earned Leaves (Earned PTO). For example an employee becomes eligible for X days worth of PTO if they have worked for Y days
