Q.Why do I get 404 error after login even though application installation was successful?

Q. Why do I get “Requested URL /Sentrifugo/index/loginpopupsave was not found on this server” error?
A. If Rewrite module is not configured properly in your system, you will get Error 404 page after logging into the application. Also, make sure that “Allowoverride None” is replaced with “Allowoverride All” in your Apache configuration file.

Q.Does Sentrifugo support multiple languages?
A. We do not have the feature to change the interface of Sentrifugo from English to any other language. We will keep you posted about the same when it’s ready.

Q.Why do I get a blank page in Step 1 during the Installation Process?
A. Please check your Apache error log file. If apache_get_modules() is the error, use the below methods to resolve the problem:
Method 1 : In php.ini file, remove the string “apache_get_modules” from “disabled_functions =” and restart the apache server. For further reference, please click: http://www.2by2host.com/articles/php-errors-faq/disabled_apache_get_modules/

Method 2: If all the Apache modules (PHP v5.3 or greater, PDO-Mysql extension for PHP (pdo_mysql), Rewrite module (mod_rewrite), GD Library (gd), Open SSL (openssl) related to Sentrifugo are configured properly in your server, follow the below lines to ignore the error and continue your installation process: Go to install/step1.php file, remove the line number 38 and save. ‘mod_rewrite’ => in_array(‘mod_rewrite’,apache_get_modules()),
Note: Sentrifugo runs only on Apache Server.

    • Currently, the state ‘Telangana’ doesn’t exist in the application, however you can add it in the ‘other’ category. Go to:
      Site Config -> Locations -> States -> Add+ -> Select the Country: as ‘India’ and select the State: ‘Other’. In the field ‘Other State’ enter Telangana.

  1. how can I grant access to other employees so that they can login and submit their leave request? how to set approval level, like who can approve the leave?

    • Hi Christina,

      When you add employees to Sentrifugo, emails containing credentials will be sent to their provided email ids. Approval levels work according to Reporting Managers. For example, an employee’s reporting manager can approve the employee’s leave request.

      • Hi,

        The email ID configured in ‘Email Contacts’ under HR Group will be able to receive email notification regarding the employee leave.
        Go to: Site Configurations -> General -> Email Contacts -> Add. According to a Business Unit, you can configure the group mail.

  2. I have login problem on sentrifugo 2.1.1.
    I can successfully login as super admin

    But I can’t login as employee
    It says “You will be able to login on or after 04/06/63”
    I currently set 04/06/63 as organization started date.

    Firstly – great product!!!

    Secondly – Is it possible for an employee to request leave, and then their managers, manager to approve it.

    For example, if the employees manager is off sick, could the manager of that manager approve the request?

  4. Excellent HR tool you have put together here. My primary use for it is the Leave Management module. With the way it is currently setup, the leave allocation per employee covers all leave types and does not set individual limits. How do you recommend managing a system where each employee has a variable number of vacation days (10,15,20, etc) and a fixed number of sick days (14) to ensure that each manager knows how many vacation days they are allowed to approve without having to have external listings?

    Alternatively, is multiple leave type tracking on the future feature list?

      Thank you for showing interest in our product! Any number of leave days can be allocated manually to employees. An HR can manually allocate 14 sick leave days once every year to every employee. Currently in Sentrifugo, leaves are allocated manually, if you require any customization, kindly contact sales@sentrifugo.com. Thanks!

      Kindly go to: HR > Leave Management > Leave Management Options. Add/Edit an option for a business unit/department. Select the option ‘Yes’ for the field ‘Allow Leave Transfers?’. This will enable users to transfer their leaves accumulated in a year to the next year.

      You can reactivate a user by clicking on the ‘Active’ button. A confirmation window will pop up, click yes to reactivate the user.
      You can view all the active/inactive users by choosing the filter option active/inactive for the column ‘User Status’ in the Employees grid (Path: HR > Employees).

  5. Is there anyway to add custom fields to Employee module ?

    For example, I need to add new tab called “EPF Details” under Employee, which contains EPF fields of employee like EPF number, EPF renewal date. EPF maturity date

    How can i achieve this ? i.e. How to add new tab and fields under it ?

  7. In our organization we have facility of Comp off if any employee work on any public holiday, right now I am not able to view any option for this.
    Can you tell me any workaround method by which I can achieve this?

    • Hi Tarun,

      Thank you for choosing Sentrifugo. Sorry to disappoint you, currently Sentrifugo doesn’t have the provision for Comp off.
      You can however create a ‘Comp off’ leave type by following this path:
      HR->Employee Configuration–>Leave Types–>Add, and ask the employee to select that type when he/she is applying for a leave.
      The HR will also need to allocate extra leave days (equivalent to the comp off taken by the employee) to the employee’s leave balance.

    Hope you have created a leave type for ‘Comp off’ by following the above procedure.
    In Sentrifugo either the admin /HR have the privilege to allocate decimal number of leaves.
    But the employee can select ‘Comp off’ as leave type and select Leave for option as ‘Half day’, then immediately 0.5 days is populated and debited from employee leaves.

  10. Can HR Manually deduct Leave for the Employee? Suppose any unplanned leave has been taken by the Employee then I just don’t want to deduct one leave directly, I need that there must be an Entry that HR can Add on Employee’s behalf to Keep Record Daywise.

    For this, I’ve already created one category as Unplanned Leave. So I can track how many uninformed/unplanned leaves have been taken during the year for one particular employee.

      Currently, in Sentrifugo the HR will not be able to raise a leave request on behalf of an employee. The HR can only deduct leaves directly from the employee’s leave balance from HR > Employees > Click edit against any employee’s name > Click ‘Leave’ sub menu option on left side > Enter a digit with ‘minus’ sign (E.g. -2, -3) to deduct that number of leave days.       Employee leave records can be deleted from the database. Following are the tables which deal with leave requests: main_leaverequest main_leaverequest_summary You will need to map the data and delete accordingly.

I have logged in super admin and allocating leave for next year and enabled leave transfer as “yes” while allocating leave it carry over 10.5 of previous year but actual leave should be 13 for 2018 if that case I have to enter 2.5 in “add/remove leaves” but it is not taking decimal. how to fix this issue

  21. Using analytic tab, under employee leaves—> employeee leave summary. I am unable to generate report into excel or PDF in analytics tab. There is no error message to deduct this. How to fix this problem.

  23. I would like to apply 2 half day leave for same leave date with different leave types. If I try to apply second half day with diff leave type its not allowing me to do so. Showing error msg ” leave already applied with that date” however I still have half day leave available. Pls assist me on this.

  25. Hi, I just updated my apache version from 3 to easy apache 4, after then I’m not able to run hr system on that server. I’m getting “500 internal Server Error”. I assigned each version of PHP from 5.4 to 7.2 using WHM one by one but nothing worked. Please help me to fix this issue. thanks!
