How to Add Widgets

Widgets make Sentrifugo easier to use and helps users to navigate through the application smoothly. They enable you to keep important or frequently accessed options on your dashboard, so you needn’t go through various selections to get to a feature.

For example, a manager can set the features ‘Openings/Positions’ and ‘Scheduled Interviews’ as his widgets. So, as soon as he logs in, he will be able to see the interviews scheduled for the day and the number of opening/positions in his department.

There are 3 ways to add widgets:Img1To add a widget, you will need to click on any one of the module names on the top menu item. It will generate a menu on the extreme left side. Click on the option according to your preference and then, drag and drop it in the rectangular space.

Note: You cannot drag & drop menu items which further branch out into more options.

In the below screenshot, we have chosen the options from a manager’s point of view. You can configure up to 10 widgets for the dashboard.

After you save the widget settings, this is how your dashboard will look like:img4Shortcuts in Sentrifugo can be configured in the same way as widgets. Shortcuts will appear on the extreme left side of the dashboard.

Manage Employee Details Easily

Sentrifugo makes it really easy for users to enter and store the various details of an employee. Some of the different provisions for storing employee details are:

  • Official: This includes all the official information of an employee like his/her employee id, business unit, department, reporting manager, date of joining etc.
  • Documents: The employee’s documents such as resumes, official forms etc. can be uploaded (only pdf, doc, docx formats) and stored here.
  • Leaves: The HR can allocate leaves for an employee for a particular year and the employee can view the number leaves allotted to them.
  • Holidays: Employees are assigned to holiday groups and they can view the holidays.
  • Salary: The pay frequency, salary and account details can be entered and saved in this provision.
  • Personal: Personal details comprises of the employee’s marital status, nationality, race & ethnic details, languages known, blood group, DOB and identity document details.
  • Contact: The employee’s contact information and contacts required in case of an emergency can be provided here.
  • Experience: An employee’s previous job experience and the company details can be inputted in this option.
  • Training & Certification: The various training and certifications taken up by the employee can be logged here.
  • Medical Claims: The medical claim, leave and hospital details are saved here.
  • Disability: If an employee has a disability, the details concerning it can be updated.
  • Visa & Immigration: For storing visa and passport information. The visa and passport expiry dates are stored. The employee will be notified one month before the expiration of the documents through an email.

There are more categories for storing the details of an employee. The employee details tab can be configured to select or deselect the options which need to be displayed in the employees’ profiles.

New & Improved Sentrifugo 2.1 brings you the perfect HR solution

We’re very excited to announce the release of Sentrifugo’s stable version! The end of this week will be bringing you the Sentrifugo 2.1 packed with a lot of new and improved features which have simplified the workflow in Sentrifugo. And yes! We have done away with the bugs.

Time Module

Sentrifugo’s Time module consists of a simple and effective way to enter time, track employees’ activities, time offs and generate accurate time reports.Managers can easily configure the company’s projects, client information and task details. They can add employees to the projects with client details and assign tasks to them. They can view the timesheets of the employees reporting to them in a daily, weekly or monthly view format. #Employees can enter the hours spent on an assigned project. Employee and project time reports can be generated based on the details entered by the employees.

Feature Enhancements

You wanted a Sentrifugo with a simpler process flow and now you can have it! Some of the new features added to Sentrifugo are:

  • We have added a few more steps to our Configuration Wizard (Super Admin) which will guide you to easily set up the application.
  • A separate Configuration Wizard for the HR.
  • Leave allocation for multiple employees at once.
  • Managers can now view the employees’ (reporting to them) leaves on his calendar.

Policy Documents

This feature enables you to access & store all your organisation’s policy documents. Your employees will now have access to view essential documents such as employee handbook, leave policy etc.  in just one click. The Super Admin, Management & #HR can create different categories for the policy documents and place them accordingly. Documents can uploaded one at a time or multiple documents at one go.

A few cumbersome steps and settings have been improved, modified or removed. We can’t wait for you to try out Sentrifugo 2.1!! Efficient User Management with Sentrifugo

Access Control for Users

Sentrifugo has the provision to create different roles, each of them having certain privileges on the basis of hierarchy in an organization. Access rights to each role can be provided by the HR or the Management. So every user can access the data they need as long as it’s within their assigned privileges, hence making Sentrifugo a very secure application!

Following are the 6 types of roles existing in Sentrifugo:

  • Management
  • Manager
  • HR
  • Employees
  • External Users
  • System Admin

Employee Information Management

Sentrifugo can hold data for around 5000 employees. You can maintain and store employee data in this application. Information can be entered one employee at a time or you can transfer the details of many employees in a bulk using the ‘import employees’ option.

Other than entering employees’ official details, you can also upload their important documents.  An employee’s personal, communication, additional details (visa & immigration, education, job history, languages) & many more can also be configured in Sentrifugo.

If an employee leaves the organization, his status is changed to ‘Inactive’ based on the employment status i.e. left, resigned & suspended. The HR can also forcefully make an employee’s status ‘Inactive’, which will stop the employee from logging into his account. Everything from country & city to languages & time zones are configurable in Sentrifugo. The HR can configure them on the basis of their organizational needs and use them to enter the employee details.

Manage External User

You can add external users and configure their details. External users can consist of background check agencies, consulting agencies etc. They will have very basic privileges.
